Tour requests, class visits, and research visits involving archival collections, special collections or rare books should be made at least five business days in advance so we can prepare to make the most of your visit.
Though it is not mandatory to make an appointment before visiting the library, it is encouraged if you have a detailed research question, you know you want to work with specific materials, or if you would like a tutorial for a specific tool.

If you need to use items from the general collection over the course of two days, we're happy to hold items for you at the Reference Desk for 24 hours.
Just want to browse around the circulating collections? Feel free to come in sans appointment!
