
Tour requests or class visit requests should be made at least five business days in advance.
Research visits involving archival collections, special collections, or rare books should be made five business days in advance.
It is not mandatory to make an appointment before visiting the library, but it is highly encouraged. If you have a detailed research question, you know you want to work with specific collections materials, or if you would like a tutorial for a specific tool, it is helpful to make an appointment ahead of time. Giving advanced notice ensures that library staff will be able to accommodate your research request efficiently.
