A rich center for culture and the arts, The New York Botanical Garden and the Mertz Library have each hosted many exhibitions and special events over the years. These vertical files are divided into two categories: "Library" and "Horticultural." Events not specifically hosted by either branch are filed under the general heading, "Events and Shows."
